From Eileen: I don’t have a lot of information to share from the trail yet, but the guys did send these two photos and reported that they had another good day of hiking. We should have a full report from this neighborhood crew tomorrow night!

I am amazed with every report. This September I will run two sprint triathlons and be happy that I can do it. Thanks Rick, you are an inspiration. Melanie (Jay’s sister)

Rick,
I hope you know what an inspiration you!
It was my great honor and privilege to walk with the ALS TDI gang onto the hallowed grounds of Fenway Park and participate in the celebration last Saturday. I’m sad to have missed you, but feel blessed to have the “reunion” I had with Eileen, Lynn, and Mitch and to spend time around Philip. He’s an impressive young man, fruit that clearly fell near a sturdy tree.
Reading the blog, every word, on my flight back has been a soul-enriching experience. Thank you! For your courage, for your example to others, for the incredible spirit you and your hiking partners display. Vaya con Dios, amigo.
